Robert Ferrell is a minister, teacher, and psychologist who bears witness to the compassionate creation and healing of community and the Perennial Tradition1. Born in Chattanooga Tennessee and served in the US Air Force for 20 years, Robert values loyal friendship, peace, dignity, and the art of contemplative living. He honors opportunities for others to encounter life in all its fullness and discover the miracles of love.
As a speaker, spiritual teacher, sacred activist, and public theologian, Robert is devoted to the common values of peace, compassionate service, love for all creation, and guiding others to an inner life awakened to responsibility and love that naturally expresses itself through engaged spirituality, in acts of compassionate service. He envisions a common love-infused wisdom participating in our divine unity thus, contributing to the transformation of the world and the building of a nonviolent, peace-loving culture that includes everyone.
Robert’s teaching is grounded in the Christian Contemplative and Perennial tradition—with practices of love, letting go, gratitude, self-emptying, and silence expressing itself in radical compassion and community. He is committed to experiential education so that you come to know something of and for yourself. Robert is a passionate advocate for the restoration of authentic and genuine spirituality expressed in unity. He serves so that people can discover spiritual meaning for themselves, and be awakened to their own sense of the sacred, whether they consider themselves religious or non-religious, spiritual or atheist. He is always willing to minister wherever he’s asked to go, in a way that’s fitting for the people he’s supporting.
Robert is a multifaceted teacher with decades of experience in interspirituality, organizational development, and the neuropsychology of spiritual intelligence.
